A major construction project by any standard, Bloomberg features over 77,000m² of TATA Comflor 51+, TATA Comflor 60 and TATA Comflor 80 over nine floors. The development of the building comprises two office buildings, ground floor retail units and a new entrance to the London Underground.
During the 1950’s, the Temple of Mithras was discovered on Walbrook. The archaeological find has been dubbed ‘the greatest discovery of its time’. As part of the re-development, Bloomberg will also host a permeant exhibition on the Temple of Mithras.
With an overall area of 77,300m², Bloomberg to date is one of the largest contracts Prodeck-Fixing has secured.
Due to site constraints, all decking was pre-cut off site. This presented an exacting challenge on site.
